הגדרת Banana Pi לעבודה ב-FullHD - 1920x1080

Configuring Banana Pi to run in FullHD / 1080p / 1920x1080
English version will be added as a reply to this post

mkimage -C none -A arm -T script -d ./boot.cmd ./boot.scr

(The forum has some issues with Left to Right :( )

Following the post regarding "Configuring Raspberry Pi as Kiosk + Chromium", it appears that Banana Pi running Raspbian is "hard" coded to run at 720p (1280x720).

In addition, the Raspberry configuration tool doesn’t allow changing the screen resolution. This limitation exists in the Raspberry Pi II as well, but at least it arrives pre-configured to run at FullHD / 1080p / 1920x1080.
There are a number of configuration files / scripts that supposed to pass the resolution and other parameters to the system, but again, that doesn’t really works with the Banana Pi.
So what should we do? Firs thing is to identify your exact system board.

Each Banana Pi board has its own configuration file folder, we should change the files in the correct folder.
We’ll start from the end and will edit the post later so it’ll be easy to understand the steps we need to take to get the requested resolution. The magic command line is:
mkimage -C none -A arm -T script -d ./boot.cmd ./boot.scr
